Executive Team

  • Willis Tang

    Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    Willis is a graduate from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Human Biology. He has worked on numerous health education projects across Los Angeles and has over three years of EMS experience. Currently, Willis is pursuing his M.D. degree at the UCSF School of Medicine and hopes to continue leading novel initiatives that will improve bystander access to emergency health education.

  • Alexandra Stanczak

    Chief Operations Officer

    Alexandra graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Human Biology. She has previous experience developing EHR tools for nonprofits in Ukraine, Poland, and Romania, and has contributed to many local and international health initiatives. She is currently completing a Research Fulbright in Poland, leading a study on the long-term effects of trauma, and is committed to ensuring that everyone has the skills to respond effectively in a health crisis.

  • Madelynn Sopp

    Director of Education

    Madelynn holds a M.S. in Global Medicine and B.S. in Human Biology from the University of Southern California, where she began her collegiate EMS career in 2017. Currently pursuing her M.D. degree at the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine, she is deeply passionate about expanding healthcare access and advancing health literacy in medically underserved communities.

  • Karida Ean

    Director of International Outreach

    Karida is a graduate from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Psychology and is currently pursuing her M.D. at the UCSF School of Medicine. She is committed to global health equity, drawing from her experiences as an immigrant to drive health education and research projects across several countries. Through ERP, Karida is passionate about advancing community-based initiatives in resource-limited and global settings.

  • Colin Mach

    Legislative Director

    Colin is a graduate from the University of California, San Diego with a B.S. in Human Biology. He has worked in various nonprofits, guiding legislative outreach and connecting with lawmakers on local, state, and national levels. Currently, Colin is pursuing his M.D. degree at Georgetown and hopes to expand ERP's impact through transformative policies that will improve first-aid preparedness and emergency health education across California and beyond.

  • Jonathan Mak

    Director of Finance

    Jonathan is a graduate from Boston University with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Health and Life Sciences. He has previous experience in the private equity and investments sector and has worked as a Medical Assistant. With ERP, he hopes to build financial flexibility to help achieve the organization’s goals in supporting the Greater Los Angeles community.

  • Dan Dworkis, MD, PhD

    Medical Advisor

    Dr. Dworkis is an emergency physician-scientist who helps individuals, teams, and systems apply knowledge under pressure. His work blends real-world clinical experience with research in complex systems, decision-making, and high-stakes team performance. Dr. Dworkis is the author of The Emergency Mind and teaches internationally on swarm teams, crisis leadership, and human performance.

  • Angelica Loza-Gomez, MD, FAEMS

    Medical Advisor

    Dr. Loza-Gomez is a board-certified emergency physician and Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She currently serves as both the Director of Emergency Medical Services in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Director of the Prehospital Base Station at the LAC+USC Medical Center.

  • Vicrumdeep Tung, MD

    Medical Advisor

    Dr. Tung is a General Surgery Specialist and Associate Medical Director at a private medical company. He graduated with honors in 2009 and received his medical training through a Cornell-affiliated program and residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr.Tung has more than 12 years of diverse clinical and teaching experience and is a strong advocate for improving patient medical literacy.

  • Susie Kim, MD

    Educational Advisor

    Dr. Kim graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and is now a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the Keck School of Medicine. Dr. Kim is passionate about teaching students and supporting accessible health education.
